THE DISNEY FAQ

What is the difference between Disney World and Disneyland?

Disneyland, located in Anaheim, California, is Disney’s first park. Includes two parks, Disneyland and California Adventure. Great, laid back vibes with great rides and perfect theming.

Disney World is Disney’s largest resort located in central Florida in Orlando. Includes 4 parks, dozens of resorts, and internal transportation to get you around the Disney bubble.

How much does it cost to book a Disney trip?

There is a $200 refundable deposit to book a trip to Disney. The balance is due 30 days before travel.

Can I make payments?

Yes! If you are using a Disney Travel Agent like Revenge Travel Company you can make payments on your trip. Just let us know!

Does Disney offer discounts?

Yes! Disney offers various deals on tickets and resorts throughout the year. These deals often are not available until a few months before your travel dates so it is possible you will book a trip at “rack rate” which means a trip without any discounts. As soon as any deals are available for your travel dates, we will let you know about the available offers so you can take advantage.

How early do I need to book a Disney trip?

Depending on the time of year, it is best to book a Disney trip at least 90 days in advance. If you plan to visit during the holidays or you want to book a certain resort or special experiences, you will want to book as early as possible.

Is it possible to book a last minute trip?

Absolutely! If you are flexible on resorts and dining, you absolutely can book a last minute trip.

What is a realistic budget?

Disney World prices vary greatly depending on your travel dates and the level of resort you choose. Decide how much you are willing to spend and see what your options are. If price is a barrier, avoid the holidays and spring break. Choose a slower time of year like early September.

What is included in my Disney World package?

Your Disney package includes park tickets, your resort, internal Disney World transportation. Your food can also be included if you select a Disney Dining Plan.

Should I get a Disney Dining Plan?

Disney Dining Plans are expensive and unless you have a family of really big eaters, you are unlikely to save money utilizing a dining plan. The benefit of a Disney Dining Plan is your food, or at least some of it being included in your package.

What is Park Hopper?

A standard Disney World park ticket allows you to enter one park on one day. Park Hopper is an add on to your ticket that allows you to visit more than one park in a single day. You can visit all four parks in one day if you want to. We’ve done it!
